The Bible is full of Bible verses that equip us with faith, love, strength, hope, and inspiration. I personally love sharing Bible verses that focus on specific topics. Grouping Bible verses that way has really helped me when I’m struggling in a particular area.

I want to try something new today. Instead of sharing Bible verses on specific topics, I’m going to share short Bible verses.

My purpose in this is to help you see that even short Bible verses have a significant purpose. They are also a great way to start memorizing scripture.

The world is getting darker and darker each day and there may even come a day where we can’t have our own Bibles. We shouldn’t let this scare us. It should motivate us to take the time to equip ourselves with God’s Word in our hearts.

Short Bible verses can be used in multiple ways. They are easier to commit to memory, you can use them to encourage others, you can use them as your phone wallpaper, etc…

I’m praying that these scriptures will be a blessing to you and will encourage you to take the time to remember them.

Short Bible Verses

These short Bible verses are from different books of the Bible. Please remember that just because these are simple Bible verses, it doesn’t mean they are easy Bible verses.

When I say “easy”, I’m referring to their impact on your life. Some may be difficult depending on your season of life and some may be uplifting.

The Bible is living so it speaks to us in different ways during our lives. It meets you right where you are. There are multiple times when I’ve read the same Bible verse and it spoke to me differently each time.

Thankfully God tells us that His Word will not return void and that it will accomplish the desires and purpose for which He sent it (Isaiah 55:10-11). We can rest in God knowing that everything in His Word will be used for our good (Romans 8:28).

I’m going to break these short verses down by category. Hopefully, this will help you find a particular verse quicker.

I’m going to share these short scriptures in different Bible versions. Mainly because everyone has a favorite Bible version. I have a few favorite versions I like to read from too.
