It’s time to share my weekly meal plan with you. Meal planning has been part of my life for the past several years. It has helped me save money and serve my family.
My hope is that you can benefit from me sharing my meal plan with you weekly. You can use this plan exactly how it is or change it to your liking. This meal plan accommodates our family of 5 and we usually have leftovers.
Well, I still love my Instant Pot. I added a few Instant Pot recipes to this meal plan again because they are so amazing. If you have been thinking about getting an Instant Pot, I highly recommend you do. It’s well worth the money and is perfect for busy moms like me. This is the exact Instant Pot I purchased. It’s amazing!
I have been creating a printable of these meal plans and a grocery list to make it easier for you. I’m sure you can imagine that it takes extra time to do that. I’m more than happy to do it if it’s beneficial to you. Please leave me a comment below to let me know if it’s helping you. If it is, I will start creating it again.
If you want to create your own meal plan, check out my post on how to create a meal plan.
This Week’s Meal Plan
Monday – Chili Dogs
This is a simple recipe. You need hot dogs (I like turkey hot dogs), hot dog buns, cheese, onion, and chili. We like Dennison chili for this meal.
Tuesday – Instant Pot Sunday Pot Roast
This is a new Instant Pot Recipe that I’m trying. I haven’t tried it but it has really good reviews. Click this Instant Pot Sunday Pot Roast link to get the recipe.
Wednesday – Asian Chicken Salad
We haven’t done this before but we are making our own Asian Chicken Salad. I’ll make the chicken in the Instant Pot. I plan on cutting up some lettuce, red bell peppers, and red cabbage. We will top our salads with Asian salad dressing, crunchy rice noodles, and almonds. Sounds super yummy!
Thursday – Sausage & Veggies Foil Packs
We don’t use our BBQ very often but this is one of my favorite recipes when we do. It’s really tasty and easy to put together. Click this Sausage & Veggie Foil Packs link to get the recipe.
Friday – Instant Pot Whole Chicken
This is another new Instant Pot Recipe that I’m trying. I haven’t tried it but it has really good reviews. Click this Instant Pot Whole Chicken link to get the recipe. I plan on serving this with baked vegetables.
Saturday – Bean and Cheese Burritos
This is a simple recipe. You need refried beans (we use Rosarita beans), onion, cheese, hot sauce and sour cream. We usually eat this alone but you could also serve it with salad or rice.
Sunday – Instant Pot Potato Soup
This is another new Instant Recipe that I’m trying. My friend tried it and said it was really good. We love baked potato soup. I usually make it in my slow cooker so I’m excited to see how it turns out in my Instant Pot. Click this Instant Pot Potato Soup link to get the recipe. I plan on serving this with french bread.
That’s my meal planning for this week. I hope this is helpful to you. I have a board on Pinterest called “Recipes We Like” (we’ve tried all the recipes on this board and have approved them) that you can follow for more recipes. I’d love to hear any tips you may have to make meal planning easier.
Check out all the other meal plans I’ve posted.
