Finding Christian Valentine Cards became a challenge when my kids were old enough for Valentine’s Day exchanges. Oh, how I love Valentine’s Day. It’s one of my favorite days of the year.
It’s a day that tells everyone to love one another. Of course, we know as Christians we are called to love each other every day. That’s what Jesus tells us in the book of John.
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35
I love sharing Jesus on Valentine’s Day. What a great way to share His love for us. It’s a day that we can easily witness to others. Christian Valentine cards are a perfect way to do this.
The world has a different definition of Valentine’s Day. In fact, The dictionary describes Valentine’s Day as a day when it is traditional to send a card, often anonymously, to a person one is romantically involved with or attracted to.
Just because the world defines it that way, doesn’t mean that we can’t share the Truth about where love comes from. Jesus is the only perfect love anyone can experience and we need to share His love with everyone.
As I mentioned above, I really struggled with finding Christian Valentine’s for my kids. Looking for them consumed a lot of my time but my kids really love Jesus and wanted to share His love on Valentine’s Day.
