Money Wise Steward - Apryl Griffith Family

Hello, I’m Apryl – I’m a blessed wife and mother of three from the beautiful mountains of Southern California.

My husband, Jerry, is the financial provider for our home which has given me the privilege of staying home and homeschooling my three children.

In 2007, my husband and I were swimming in debt, working long hours just to pay the bills. We felt like we were missing out on quality family time and were being pulled away from our first priority in life – Jesus Christ.

Later in 2008, the Lord got a hold of my heart. He was calling me to my first priority in life, Jesus (Hebrews 10:25), I needed to spend more time with Him and I needed to be a good wife (Ephesians 5:22), and a good mother (Deuteronomy 6:5-9).

So, we made the decision to make significant financial changes in our lives. Our journey included me becoming a stay-at-home mom, downsizing our home, and paying off over $35,000 in credit card debt (It’s so scary to type that).

It was tough, but we completed it all in just over three years, God is so faithful! Throughout this process, I learned many ways to save money and how to become a good steward of our finances.

I created this blog to share my journey and help others live their lives to the fullest. Join me on this journey to take control of your finances, strengthen your relationship with Jesus, and live a life that honors Him.

Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. Have a blessed day!
